How to contribute to the EUPH-CV
How does the standardisation process work?
The EUPH-CV is an integral part of the EU Pollinator Hub. The standardisation process is carried out on the EUPH in accordance with SOP-012 (Data standardisation). However, new versions of the vocabulary are exported and stored as datasets on the EU Pollinator Hub (EUPH) and on other repositories (GitHub). The process could therefore be continued based on the latest deployed version if the EUPH were to be discontinued.
The person responsible for data standardisation in the EUPH is in charge of the entire process. Other persons may be entrusted with parts of the standardisation process, e.g. regional subgroups, groups on specific topics or groups responsible for subject-specific translations. These groups may organise regular meetings, but the discussion process itself should take place via the user interface created for this purpose on the EUPH.
Who may participate?
The EUPH has been designed to enable an inclusive, collaborative process that values the contribution of all participants. The EUPH management encourages domain experts of all relevant backgrounds, regardless of their language skills, to participate in this process. The standardisation process is organised as part of the activities of Apimondia Working Group 15 (Standardization of data on bees and beekeeping). If you wish to participate in the ongoing standardisation process or start a subgroup on a particular topic please contact Noa Simon Delso.
Where can I find instructions on the standardisation process?
Detailed instructions on the standardization process at EUPH can be found in the EUPH product directory.
