A frame type is a quality of a frame that is used to distinguish between design, function, or size.

Recommended best practice is to use string literals from the controlled vocabulary designated for use with this term, listed at https://app.pollinatorhub.eu/vocabulary/classes/tree/3278. This term has an equivalent in the pmsiri: namespace that allows only an IRI as a value, whereas this term allows for any string literal value.
