dc [dc] namespace descriptor quick reference guide

Darwin Core is a standard maintained by the Darwin Core Maintenance Interest Group. The Darwin Core vocabulary including classes and their properties have been fully implemented on ther EU Pollinator Hub vocabulary. Terms in the namespace abbreviation dcterms: are imports of Dublin Core legacy terms from the /elements/1.1/ namespace into the Darwin Core vocabulary for use in describing biodiversity data. DCMI encourages the use of the /terms/ namespace and this policy has been followed on the EU Pollinator Hub.
